Bolt is available on DVD and Blu-Ray

"Bolt" is now available on DVD and Blu-Ray. Audiences may think the 3-D computer-animated film came from Pixar Studios. Pixar started with hits like "Toy Story" and has recently created "Wall-E."
Bolt is a comedy about a show-business dog starring the voices of John Travolta and Miley Cyrus. Bolt was created from Disney's own animation studio and represents an important move by Disney to recreate a part of the company that ran out of power in the last decade. The decline in Disney animation came about partly because of cooler offerings by studios like Pixar, which Disney bought in 2006.
Bolt looks like a fun movie to see over the holiday weekend, appropriate for children. It has been 
overshadowed by "Twilight" the teen-vampire movie but it does appeal to slightly different audiences.
Disney, as always, does a great job of merchandising their movie offerings. Bolt plush toys are flying off the shelves! The animals (Bolt, Mitten the Cat, and Rhino the hamster) are full of cuteness and will probably be on a lot of youngsters' Christmas lists.
